Rekindled Reading

Today started with me not being able to accompany someone for VHH during their BFT shift because I was so sleepy. I was so tired and I didn't notice it. I just woke up at 3:37 a.m. and messaged someone. I felt scared that they didn't wake up or that they would be mad but things were okay when I talked to them. I didn't accompany them for VHH but I was still talking to them, even though there wasn't a coherent topic because someone kept sleeping in and out throughout the entire time. I was on my PC, doing other things for a bit and then someone messaged me back at 8 a.m.

In the morning, our usual work shift started and I suddenly felt like looking for Kindles so I could read ebooks again. I did my usual morning work tasks and got on with my morning routine. Someone was still messaging me in the background and they invited me into Sky so we got into VHH at around 9:20 a.m. Throughout the morning, we were just collecting winged lights so we could be fully prepared for Eden later. I was mostly piloting and collecting the winged lights while watching a YouTube guide on it. Work passed by and things were usual and nothing noteworthy. In the background, I was trying to find a seller for a Kindle. I found one on Carousell and it seemed like a good deal, so I made a plan with them to meet them later tonight at UP Town Center in Quezon City. I was just stressing out about how I would get there and then back quickly because someone and I had to do Eden in Sky. I was still in VHH with some by the end of our shifts, just collecting winged light and it was pretty good. At around 6 p.m., I had to leave just so I could meet the seller at around 7 or so and I'm glad I was riding a motorcycle and they didn't waste any time.

I quickly arrived at UPTC (despite it taking an hour) and it was your usual G.I.G.O. operation: get in and get out. I felt the pain of losing a lot of money and digging into my savings, but whatever. I even had to buy coffee because the lady didn't have a change for my bill. But after all that was said and done, I quickly booked a ride home and it was a literal race against time to get home and catch up with someone. At that point, they had already left VHH and joined Nicole's server. I arrived just in the nick of time and we all went through Eden together: Nicole, Eric, someone, and I. Nicole died first in the last part of Eden, then me, then someone, and Eric was the last to die. We all got our wing levels reset. Someone was supposed to sleep early but ended up staying for wayyy too long. She didn't really sleep and we kept talking through chat and I showed them my Kindle and how it worked. Then we kept talking until it was already time for BFT the next day.
