Seeing IKEA

My day started as usual and things at work were fairly calm for today. It just passed by and I didn't have anything noteworthy happen throughout my shift and afternoon.

For the evening, my Mom planned that we go to SM Mall of Asia today so we can go to IKEA to buy some stuff. We booked a ride there and, on the way, I imagined myself performing solo at a company's Christmas party, kind of like what I did for my current and past company. Only this time, I would be singing "Beep Beep Beep Ang Sabi Ng Jeep" and making a complete fool of myself, and also bringing handmade props to the performance. It was honestly a fun idea and making a fool out of myself by singing weird songs in front of my coworkers is something I've done twice already, so I found the idea funny. On the way, though, the driver was coughing like hell and he seemed sickly.

Eventually, we got to SM MoA and we went to the Watsons inside. We buy some medicine and we take some vitamin supplements before walking to IKEA. We joke and talk to each other on the way there and we eventually reach the entrance. We started at the 4th floor and we walked around some nice set pieces with the furniture and everything set up. We eventually choose and take photos of furniture we want to buy in the future, and we eventually settle on the perfect sofa replacement for our living room. Once that was done, we bought a few things like a new shoe rack and other small stuff like new pillows and a rug. Our bill wasn't much, it was around 3,000-4,000 but we've planned out the other big-ticket items that we want to buy in the future. We booked a ride home and our Grab driver was playing Christian and worship songs throughout the whole ride, which was nice. We get home and the night ends there.
