Walk and More

Today was a pretty productive day. My day started with me catching up on all the journal entries I've missed and I finished writing and implementing that sitemap generator for all of my journal entries. I submitted the sitemap index to Google and went to sleep afterward.

I got a relatively-full 7 hours of sleep, which kind of surprised me because I kept waking up in-between sessions. I had a really weird dream, too. But I eventually woke up, had a bit of egg and kimchi that my sister prepared, and started my morning a bit late at 11 a.m. I thought about what else to do and it was this JSON+LD for those individual journal entries. SEO seems annoying but I just worked on it and fixed a couple of bugs all afternoon.

I still hadn't found the solution come late afternoon and my sister had left to go biking, so I had nothing to do at home. I just randomly decided to go and walk the route my Mom, sister, and I used to walk through early in the year. Since I had nothing to do and nothing tied me down, I went out for a walk all by myself.

The first part of the walk was grueling as always, but after passing Bayani Road and walking to Venice, things got easier. I messaged to Mom for a bit and I went to a bathroom near Venice Grand Plaza. What shocked me was that there were fireworks behind me and a fireworks show randomly started as I was walking. I took a few photos and sent them to my Mom and sister, and then I continued walking.

After a bit of time, I eventually reached BGC and even used the time to look for that Blue Cloud Sport Loop for my Apple Watch. Unfortunately, no stores had it in stock either, and one even recommended me to go to Power Mac Center in Greenbelt, which I've been to and checked twice. I continued my walk until I got to Starbucks on 32nd Street.

Since I still had a reward for completing 100 stars in the app, I decided to use it so that I wouldn't spend any money. I just got myself that iced hibiscus tea with pomegranate pearls since I didn't want anything calorie-heavy. I took a few photos, saw my run on Strava, and posted a few updates on IG. Mom called me on FaceTime and she showed me some parts of Saudi and she told me about what she was doing. She eventually had to leave the call and do her own stuff. I saw her on Strava and I was impressed that she was able to run 17 kilometers/10.5 miles in 2 hours. After that, I just finished my drink and went home.

I eventually got home just fine and I was surprised that it was already Wind Down for me. But I used the time to fix the JSON+LD bug from earlier and apparently the fix was for me to just remove 1 if condition, which honestly made me feel stupid. It was fine, though, and I just resubmitted my sitemap to Google and slept on time.
