Wrapping It Up

Today is one of the last days I have at this company and I really had to get everything organized for my departure next week.

My morning started a bit chaotic with my GPU still being broken and it was so frustrating and sad that it actually broke at the month where I didn't want things to break. It was just surprising that it broke on me and it still shocked me. After talking it out with my sister and Mom, my sister agreed to lend me her AMD graphics card until next month or so when I could buy my new one. It was a bit of a hassle setting up and moving to an AMD setup from an Nvidia one in Arch Linux, but I was able to make it work.

After that, work progressed normally in the afternoon and I was mostly busy. I'm still proud I got to fully set up a full site on Kubernetes during one call session, which still impresses me. I was even able to set up something else on the fly. I'm glad and by the end of work, we just had a dev team meeting which we played and I held one of the top spots. I also said my goodbyes and it really sunk in that I'm going to leave everyone now, including faces that I passed through during my dev interviewer phase 3 years ago.

Then I timed out of work and we ordered lugaw because my sister was feeling sick. We watched episode 9 of Beast Games and we both had a fun time watching it. I washed dishes and cleaned up a bit , wrote my journal entries and deployed it, and then went to bed. I also made a promise to myself to not use social media for tomorrow and during the weekdays so I can actually focus on learning more DevOps tools for my new job.
