Heycat

Today was pretty good, I got to wake up at my usual time and have a good amount of sleep. For the morning, I browsed my old blogs and tried to repost a few noteworthy blog posts onto my main blog. I also fixed some bugs with my blog's theme, and I was glad to have finally fixed some old bugs. I was able to learn about DevOps tools as well, which was nice.

For the afternoon, it was mostly just me chilling and then leaving at around 3:50 p.m. or so to do my exercise which was the usual 8km walk to BGC. My sister was going to bike around the same route as well and I left the house first.

Things were okay, and what I immediately noticed that I wasn't as tired or out of breath after going through Libingan ng mga Bayani this time around. I felt good, really good. I guess my body has started building up strength and endurance after doing this route so often. It was also nice to go through this place at a relatively sunny part of the day instead of the usual sunset.

As I was walking to Bayani Road, my left foot slipped and twisted in on itself while going through the road. I thought I would be suffering a sprain after this because that's how they usually start. I paused my music and walked at a slower pace. My sister and her boyfriend eventually pass by me and I checked my ankle for further signs of pain, swelling, or anything else. Fortunately, there were none, despite my initial panic. I keep walking the usual route and then eventually make my way past McKinley Hill and then pass by my sister again. I kept walking my usual route and eventually got to BGC while the sun was still up, which was a surprise. I walked around Terra 28th as usual and I called my Mom to ask about my sister and stuff. I then called my sister and asked to meet her here. I thought she would be here first but they rode around McKinley Hill for a while.

They eventually got here and we went to a convenience store to get some drinks. We talked about where to eat dinner, but they couldn't leave their bikes so my sister and her boyfriend eventually had to bike home. I had to eat dinner alone and I wondered on which restaurant was relatively “healthy” to eat at. Since I was already at BGC High Street, I tried Heybo which was literally right behind me.

Heybo had a few healthy meals and I just opted for the one where I made my own bowl. I asked ChatGPT on which of these would be great for gout and I chose their recommended pick. I got my order eventually and it was okay, so to speak. The food was a little cold, though, which didn't sit well with me considering the price. I just did random things and posted my walk to Strava while eating. I also saw this stray cat try and eat and even jump at a man's table outside. I felt sorry for it and the man even tried pushing it away. Even the guard tried to move it away, to no avail because the cat just tried coming back to the man. I felt really sorry for the poor cat and I had to just finish eating after the man kicked it away. I grabbed the remaining tuna piece on my plate and walked outside, but I couldn't find it. I eventually did find it after a bit of looking and fed them all the tuna I had in my hand. I left it after that and booked a ride home.

The rest of the evening was pretty chill. I mostly just watched videos and then tried to stand at every hour so I can complete my “1 week perfect stand goal” on my Apple Watch. It kept me up until 11 p.m. even though my bedtime was supposed to be 10:30 p.m. but I was able to close the stand ring and get some well-needed sleep for the night. Personally, I'm just glad I didn't suffer an extreme sprain from earlier and that says a lot considering I get sprained easily.
