GLLIT Confirmed

Saturday was kind of weird. I stayed up all night playing a game which was alright, I guess. It wasn't that exciting nor thrilling and I wasn't that engrossed in it, but it burned a big chunk of my time early in the day. I had a hard time sleeping afterwards and it was already 5 a.m. when I got to sleep.

I woke up at around noon and things progressed as you'd expect. I did my morning routine, I was able to grab food. Come afternoon, I was working hard on this fix to Dockerize my website and essentially refactor the code for Dockerization. It was actually a grueling process because the container builds kept failing and I was slightly going mad at 3 hours into fixing it. But I was thankfully able to pinpoint the bug and write a workaround for it in my JS Docker file.

In the afternoon, Tiffany sent me her pasalubong from Korea. It had some good chocolate snacks and I easily ate them throughout the afternoon. But what really surprised me was that they gave me official photocards of ILLIT. I could not believe it!!!! ILLIT! They actually gave me ILLIT photocards. I talked to Tiffany after posting my IG Story and they said they were choosing between ILLIT or aespa, and they chose the former because they remembered that I had an ILLIT song stuck in my head. I told Tiffany that ILLIT was the girl group I loved on my own and, in a way, symbolized me moving on from past things because I grew to like ILLIT on my own. What's also heartwarming was that Tiffany even covered for the shipping of her free gift. It was really, really, heartwarming and it solidified my stance on making ILLIT my main girl group now. I decided on a favorite member after, Moka, and set her as my wallpaper.

After that, I also cleaned up some plates and cleaned some parts by the house. By 7 p.m. or so, I was done and I felt really productive. All of the sudden, a coworker invited me to go out with him in Poblacion. I had nothing to do, so I just went for it and went out to bars with him. We mostly drank, talked about life, discussed work, and then he told me that he was impressed by my achievements because I sounded like I had so much life experience than him, who's already 30. We enjoyed the rest of the night by going to various bars. What's also weird is that a person from the past came back to message me. We followed each other back and began messaging. I was talking to them as my coworker and I were outside. The first one being Las Tapas. I requested that they play "Magbalik" by Callalily and they performed it, which was nice. I drank a few bottles of San Mig Light Apple which kind of threw me off a bit since I haven't drank beer in years. But I was still okay, we walked around to find other places to drink and talk at. By the end of the night, we were at Jose Cuervo Cantina at Poblacion and we were just chilling to some songs by a few performers. It was nice of them to treat me to this night out because I honestly didn't have enough money to pay for anything here.
