Baguettes 🥖

Today was the day I get to hang out with Max and Meryll! The thing is, I woke up rather late and it was my fault. I had actually woken up at around 8 a.m., but for some reason I turned off my alarm and then woke up at 10:40 or so. This is bad because we were supposed to meet up at 10:00 already because we had to go to Patt's Putts. I took a while in getting ready and booking a ride, too. What's worse is that it actually started to rain while I was on the road, and the driver that I was with smelled like B.O. and it was super horrible. I'm glad I got to douse myself in perfume beforehand but damn, it was just bad. We thankfully put on raincoats when we reached the bridge near Market! Market! and that helped with the smell, thankfully. The rain also lessened by the time I got to Shangri-La Plaza.

The mall was so big and I don't remember visiting this mall that much. The interior looked so large and confusing, but eventually I met up with Meryll and Max, and Max smacked me in the head for being so late. But we walked around for a bit and then found a hotpot restaurant that they wanted to eat at. I asked us for a seat and I sat across Meryll and Max sat next to Meryll. Our hotpot order finally arrived and I guided them how to cook food in a hotpot, even though I've never used one myself and I only watched videos on Instagram about it. But they quickly got the hang of it and we just talked about various life things and events while eating. I also spilled tea about what happened with my life and other things. We eventually finished eating and paid the bill, after that we walked around to withdraw cash and I ordered some doughnuts. We sat near the donut shop for a while and we just talked about other things. After that, I bought an ILLIT album that I thought just had photocards, but it even had a mini CD inside! Max bought a Seventeen album.

We took some photos at Life Four Cuts like last time and I felt better about my hair this time. But after taking the photo, Meryll made fun of me because I looked like an old man, which I admit, I kinda did look old. We went downstairs and accompanied Max while she had her watch repaired. Once that was done, we went to Patt's Putts to play some mini golf.

I have never played mini golf in real life before, but apparently I did well, initially. I kept getting a whole in one while Max and Meryll struggled a bit. We kept playing and followed the usual flow of the courses, we even took pictures while playing mini golf. But it was oddly hot inside and we had to take a breather because it was exhausting. We kept playing for more rounds and I kept messing up my shots because it was hot and I was wearing my usual baggy clothes (and hat) which added to the heat. We finished playing the whole 27 rounds and sat down to tally the scores.

To everyone's surprise, Max actually won, Meryll was the second, and I was last. This actually shocked everyone because they both thought that I was going to be first place, but I kind of knew that I'm not the first since I messed up a lot of shots on the 21st and 22nd hole. Still, I was shocked to come in dead last despite such a good start. Since we were done, we just went to our last stop today which was the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf restaurant that was nearby.

We ordered some food and I initially just ordered a drink. I was surprised that this was more like a restaurant with servers giving out the menus to the tables and I felt like a total dweeb for ordering by myself at the cashier. But regardless, I also ordered some food and I unboxed the ILLIT album while waiting, Max also opened her Seventeen album as well. We got our food, talked, and eventually Meryll's boyfriend arrives. Max and I ask him some questions since it was our first time meeting him and he was aight. I went to the bathroom and got scared because the stall closed fully and it was almost pitch black inside. I've been having scary dreams recently and I got spooked. I told everyone about it and they initially didn't believe me, but as we left, we visited the bathroom again and Meryll's boyfriend got to see how dark it was inside. We all talked for a bit and I get further spooked because I have a fear of being stuck in a mall that's closed, and they escort me to some part of the mall.

My Angkas ride eventually arrives and I am just confused by the mall's layout. He made me cancel and I just rebooked. But I was able to find a ride quickly and I went home. The rider had run out of gas so we had a little side quest and I showed him the various gas stations nearby and he eventually was able to get gas. I got home safe and I mostly rested for the night.
