Classmates Reunite!

Today was really nice. Today was finally the day wherein I'd hang out with Justin, his girlfriend, Nate, and Ane at BGC together! I slept a little late at 12, but that's okay. I woke up and had breakfast with my sister and she made scrambled eggs. I had that wheat bread from yesterday's groceries and it was nice. I ate it while watching some courtoom analysis of what NewJeans is doing and how their legal battles are. After that, I just chilled around, made a few changes to my post from yesterday, and then had lunch. I asked my sister to cook the chicken I bought yesterday and it was really nice. We got that Spicy Mix spicy flavor and I ate it while watching a video about dumb things Pokémon trainers did. I laughed a lot because I could honestly relate to doing some of the dumb stuff there like not know what stats mean to a Pokémon, and only giving them STAB moves. I got a message from Justin saying that he was on the way and I got ready as well.

Eventually, I arrived at our meetup place at Fully Booked in BGC. I only saw Justin and he told me that his girlfriend wasn't able to come along because she had other things to tend to, which I understand. But I'm glad that they're still together. Justin and I wait for a while, check out a few books, and just chill there while Nate and Ane buy Hogwarts Legacy for their Switch. They were still at Market! Market! but then went to Fully Booked shortly after. While browsing for books, Justin and I talked and I found a really funny book by Snopp Dogg titled, "Snoop Presents Goon with the Spoon." It made us laugh and I posted it to my IG Story. Eventually, Nathan and Ane arrive and they see us as they're coming up to the second floor. Nathan gives Justin a big hug which honestly shocks me. Apparently, they haven't seen each other since graduation so it feels nice to get them talking to each other again. They didn't waste any time talking to each other and Nate keeps talking to Pam. Ane was usually by herself during our time in Fully Booked but I caught up with her and talked with her a bit. We browsed some books for a while, I showed Nathan that goon book and also "Dick Fight Island 2," which Ane and I found funny. We browsed books for a little longer and Nate kept talking to Justin before I finally suggested that we go out to eat, mainly because Ane hasn't eaten since 10 a.m. in the morning. We left Fully Booked after that.

We went to TGI Friday's because I haven't been there in a long time, also because the restaurant was one of the closest. Nathan brings out his Insta360 stick while we were walking and records us walking to TGI Friday's. We got seated and, thankfully, our table had a couch after I clarified with the waitress that it would only be the 4 of us. We got food and, like I promised, it was on me. My treat. Nate orders a porkchop, Ane gets chicken and mushroom, Justin gets a salmon bake, and I get six-spice grilled chicken and mushrooms on the side. Justin and Nate are so eager to talk to each other and I just watch them. I help Ane get Nate's Switch connected to the Wi-Fi I carried around so she could download Hogwarts Legacy. Nate keeps talking about his many adventures and travels and shows us pics from his travels. We eventually get our food and take photos (it was mainly Nathan taking photos), and we ate. We talked about a lot of stuff while we were eating, honestly.

At one point while we were eating, Nate and Ane talk amongst themselves and Justin jokes to me saying that they should have that laugh track playing. I opened my phone to pull out some canned laughter on YouTube and it was seriously funny. Ane found it funny while Nathan was a bit confused, but it really made me and Justin laugh. Ane's download of Hogwarts Legacy eventually finishes and she plays while we were eating. I also make Justin ask how Nate and Ane met, I tell them the first time I met Ane, and then other topics followed. We then get dessert and I got the bill. Thankfully, it was within my budgeted range, phew. We walked out to check out the Timezone nearby, but that didn't seem fun enough so we went to the one in Market! Market! with the bowling alley. We got there after a bit of a walk and I ranted to Justin for a bit, but I'm glad he understood my position. We quickly got to Timezone and we play a few rounds of bowling. Actually, Justin, Ane, and only Nathan play because I didn't have money to reload in time for a 4th player, so I sat this one out. I'm kind of glad I did because Nathan was on a hot streak, scoring at least 4 strikes and so many spares, even at the end. I show them this NSFW bowling alley GIF I remember from a while ago and they laugh at it. The total score was 140 for Nate, 72 for Ane, and 112 for Justin. They all did pretty well, all things considered. We went on to try other games after.

Nathan and Justin had fun at a few rounds of air hockey, then Nate and I played against each other in this Pong game. We hit up the "luck"/"skill"-based games until finally, we hit up the gambling games. Nathan and Ane settle at this Wizard of Oz one, the same type of game that got me hooked before, and they kept gambling. We mostly made jokes and I kept prodding Nathan to gamble more until my card fully ran out of load. After that, we walked around for a bit, stopping by this sports shop to check out some badminton rackets, before finally separating and heading our own ways. Nathan gives Justin a hug before leaving and I got one as well. I didn't book a ride for a while and headed to Serendra.

I went back to High Street to think for a bit and just sit alone. I thought about life and how my life has been really lonely. It's funny because I sat at almost the exact same spot, thinking the same thing, back in 2017 and it's 2025 now with no major changes. I just booked a ride home so I could complete my journal entries. I sent Nate and Justin their pics and talked a bit with Justin before just shutting off my phone to complete my journal entries on the PC.
