Back to Hoenn!

Saturday was mostly boring in that I didn't do much today other than spend it at home. It was thankfully a stress relief and I got some powdered matcha delivered today! It was nice to actually have this Japanese powdered matcha I used to have years ago and it's good to have things "pre-struggle" return once again. My sister also cooked some gizzard today and I finished the leftover take-out sisig from Mang Inasal.

In the evening, I was bored. Really bored. I decided to just get into playing Pokémon again since I've just been watching and observing the content on YouTube for a couple of weeks now. I decided to go with something familiar that won't "culture shock" me so I didn't opt for anything new. I picked Alpha Sapphire since I loved playing the Hoenn games back in my PSP's GBA emulator and it was really fun to get back into it. I tried a 3DS emulator on my iPhone 16 Pro Max and, while it had a few hiccups at the start, I was eventually able to get it working. I played Alpha Sapphire for a few hours on my phone and then I transferred it to my PC where I played on Linux and used the DualSense controller I had. It was really fun and I ended up playing until 12 midnight and defeating Roxanne before trying to sleep.
