I started Sunday with me talking to Naomi about the event, about some of my friends, and a bunch of other things. I also talked to John who decided that we should see each other soon and I told him that I'm down to visit some upcoming gigs. He tells me that he'll send some posters. I also replied to Belle's messages and I went to sleep after that. I had some trouble sleeping, though, because the Buldak messed up my stomach and I woke up from it. But I was able to sleep afterward.

For the morning, nothing much happened and my sister and I just ordered take-out. She tells me that she's going out later in the afternoon so she could get the flu shot and that she'll be going with her boyfriend's family. I decided on whether or not I'll get the flu vaccine. I eventually decided on just getting it because I didn't want to miss work for the next few months. So I just waited at home with my sister and we had take-out. Funny enough, the food I ordered didn't arrive so I filed a dispute, only for the restaurant to recognize their mistake and send me the missing order sometime later. But by then, my money had already been refunded, so it was still nice to get it, even though I didn't get to eat it and had put it in the fridge since we had to leave by 3 p.m.

We eventually had to leave the house and we quickly got to my sister's boyfriend's house. By then, they were already in the car waiting for us. I sat at the front passenger seat while their dad was driving, but I didn't talk much for the whole trip to UP Town Center in QC. It's interesting because it's been a while since I've been there. The last time I went here was to buy that Amazon Kindle, which I then gave to someone. And the last recallable time before that was to meet up with Kai, and I remember that being a fun day because she gave me the signature perfume I often wear now. While we were in the car, my sister was talking to her boyfriend's family and she finds out that they're giving away Pokémon cards in every Happy Meal, so she was sure to order some Happy Meals for us after we get our flu shots.

We eventually got there and visit the doctor that would be giving the flu shots. It's funny because she actually left 1 flu shot behind, only having 3 on hand, and there were 4 of us. My sister's boyfriend was the one who actually had to sit out of the flu vaccine because he insisted I go first before him to get the flu shot, which was just funny as hell and I had to hold my laughter in. They even teased him for not being able to get the shot, but all in all, it was okay. We ordered Dairy Queen after that and I paid for a large minty Oreo one, and we headed to McDonald's. My sister orders Happy Meals for all of us, but her boyfriend's family only wanted burgers, so it was only my sister and I who got chicken and rice meals. I talked to the family while we were ordering and I asked why did my sister's boyfriend resign from his job and I told them that it is still possible to make it in the IT field without an IT-related diploma. I also gave him some advice that he should pursue an active developer role instead of an IT support role that I think will make him stagnate instead of getting his foot in the door. But he told me he'll just see. My sister also opens a single card pack from the Happy Meal set that she ordered.

We then went back to the car after eating for a while at McDonald's. I don't recall much of what happened on the ride back as I apparently slept. I still remember that the sun was still out while we were on the road and, when I woke up, it was already nighttime. But we eventually arrive back to their house and my sister and I wait for a bit before our uncle picked us up to take us home. My remaining time for the day was pretty productive, I fixed a few bugs and worked on this feature for my website. The mood calendar modal now changes according to the color for that mood. It took some tinkering, but I eventually made it work. I also added in the weather temperature in the information block, so that's nice. All in all, today was a productive day and I got to go out without the added stress of bringing my phone around or having the trip being a hassle.
