The Peak!

Today was another day in the office and nothing noteworthy really went on today. I had Burger King in the morning and just ate breakfast there while listening to KATSEYE's "Gabriela" because someone and I listened to it a few days ago. I went back to the office after that and I just chilled in the office for a while. I was still mostly full from Burger King.

In the afternoon, I had some time to kill and I was talking to someone by then. She asked me to play Sky: Children of the Light again with them and we logged back in together after a long time. We mostly just talked, played for a while, and we had fun walking around and collecting candle flames around the Hidden Forest. We only played for a while and I noticed my phone get noticeably hot even though it was the latest iPhone, which kind of surprised me because I thought that my phone can handle this game's graphics, but it even struggled. Oh well, I went back to my workstation to finish my remaining tasks for the day and then booked a ride home afterward.

When I got home, I got into a call with someone and we played Peak again with Luan. I ordered food from Sinigang Express with my sister and I ate while playing Peak. We actually died in the first few stages and someone and I had to wait by the sidelines while Luan went on and tried to figure things out. He eventually reached the lava stage, which was after the tundra stage (and we were having a difficult time going through it), and I was able to rejoin him at the end before the volcano stage. We both climbed up and someone got to join but she got resurrected at the start of the lava stage and she wasn't able to get through it. So, for the remainder of the climb, she was just a ghost who tagged along and helped us climb. It was honestly exhilarating and our climb was kind of difficult, but we were able to get through it to reach the peak, which was the game's title.

For the rest of the evening, I stayed with someone on call. They showed me a few parts of this new musical that she likes named Epic. She made me listen to it for a few hours and the story was pretty nice.
