I Guess I’m Regularized ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Today started with me just planning for my upcoming "staycation" because I believe I can call in an early win and say that I'm going to be regularized for my job. I had my doubts, but I do believe I will be regularized. So I booked a hotel for August 20-24 and I slept after that.

I then got ready for work and commuted, and thankfully the drivers today weren't speed demons. I was supposed to meet with my sister today after work because their company had an event in Makati, but it got cancelled and she just stayed at home. Thursday was a pretty average day, I had lunch at Landmark together with my coworkers and it was pretty chill. During the workday, I received a call from an HR personnel regarding a question I had about regularization. It seems as though I am getting regularized. It's honestly terrific! I'm honestly glad and relieved that I did a good-enough effort at this new job for me to stay in it for a while. It's my 3rd company after working for 7 years which is pretty good because I'm loyal to my companies and I guess I'm going to stay here for a pretty good while. It bolstered my resolve to find a better place to have a staycation at and I eventually found a new place! I'm also staying for 1 more day, so that's August 20 to 25. It should be good enough for me to get some well-deserved rest after working corporate for 7 straight years of continuous employment (and not even having a work week of unemployment). It's honestly a major feat how I got this far in life with no diploma.

For the rest of the day, I just enjoyed the company of my coworkers and did my tasks. I worked really hard on this script, so I hope it'll be appreciated well. It did get good feedback from my boss, which was nice. For dinner, we ate at Popeyes in Glorietta while we were talking about life stuff, credit cards, and such. I went home after that.

In the evening when I got home, I had enough time to play Peak with someone and Luan! We died in the alpine section because it was pretty hard, and we kept trying again and again on multiple difficulties to no avail. We event just died in the short biome, which was funny but also sad because we were struggling to make progress by then. We called it off afterward.

After playing, someone and I got into a call and I streamed my screen. We decided to watch One Missed Call (2003) together because someone apparently hadn't watched it yet.
