Staycation 2025!

Wednesday started with me still accompanying someone for their shift, but I was also excited since today would be the day of my big vacation! We played a few games at this point, mostly Peak and R.E.P.O. We had fun in Peak and someone kept trying to feed me the poisonous green apples and we eventually both died at the mesa due to the sandstorms. I was trying to find the golden Bing Bong tomb to no avail so we eventually just died and played R.E.P.O. instead. After that, someone and I left the call and I tried to get as much sleep as I could, which wasn't much considering that I'll mostly stay awake tonight again as well.

The day mostly passed by as I just rotated between sleeping and preparing to get ready for my trip to the hotel/building for my staycation. In the afternoon, I eventually made my commute there and it was a costly trip, but I got a Joyride car ride instead of a Grab one because that somehow would cost me 1,000 Pesos if I booked a ride, which was honestly just stupid. Regardless, I was able to get a ride and I remembered an old Big Time Rush song that genuinely served as hype music for my staycation. It was such a good song and it really did capture the vibe of today: going to my staycation and enjoying the entire evening. I eventually got to the hotel and checked in, and I was asked to pay a 4,000 Peso security deposit, which was kind of weird. I thought that I had already paid for a security deposit when I booked the room, or at least that's what I thought that the 2,000 Pesos were. I didn't have that much cash on hand so I just told them that I'll pay some cash later.

I withdrew quite a bit of cash and I honestly didn't bother looking in my account after that. I was able to pay for the security deposit and then just chilled for the rest of the night watching House M.D. until I had other things to do in the evening.
