Saturday started with me accompanying someone throughout their night shift. Even though I didn't have Internet connection today, I still tried to talk and call with them over mobile data. We were able to play R.E.P.O. in the early morning, which was nice. But for the rest of the time, we just had our regular call and stuff. We played Monopoly and she and the bots were winning against me. Someone kept trying to actively prevent me from building properties by taking pieces of other properties and we kind of had some competitiveness going on until I kept landing on other properties. I bankrupted myself after that I just gave up because I didn't see the game as winnable. Someone kept playing and eventually won but then they left the call because they were pissed at me.

It kind of devolved into this argument over Monopoly and them accusing me of being a sore loser, even though I just gave up because I was deep in debt and they didn't want to help me out anyway. Our Monopoly games usually revolve around us helping each other out when either one of us are in debt from the bots, until we run off the bots from the board and it's just a 1v1 between us. But someone was actively playing against me this game and I couldn't build enough properties to gain momentum so I just gave up. We both argued that we made valid moves but someone didn't like that I just gave up even though I knew I was going to lose anyway. I just told them that I would stop staying up at night because this was total bullshit. I didn't want to stay up all for this woman to get mad at me over a game of Monopoly, especially when I just came home from a long commute and a day in the office. I didn't want to stay up late for such an ungrateful, horrible person so I just told her that I won't be staying up anymore. She eventually had her head calm down and quickly apologized as I was sleeping. I didn't say I accepted her apology but I just agreed to treat them to food on Monday so that she knew everything was okay between us. She agreed and I got my sleep after that because I was genuinely physically and emotionally exhausted.

For the rest of the day, I didn't do much aside from trying to browse the Internet on mobile data. It was so annoying that the Internet wasn't back so that kind of put a huge damp on things.
