I woke up at around 4 today and I believe I got enough sleep or so because I slept at 9 p.m. yesterday. I immediately started updating ALL of my Apple devices onto their respective OS26 versions. I liked the Apple TV update, but I was more into the macOS26 and iOS26 update. I was instantly happy when my iPhone updated to iOS26 and I immediately applied the clear glass icon look for all of my wallpapers. I then tried macOS26 and it looked pretty okay. I couldn’t get colored icons to work but I was still happy to have the new journal app because I could finally have a singular place to write journal entries on, which was nice. After using my devices for a bit, I booked a ride to work and commuted to the office.

Today was a chill workday. In the morning, a coworker tapped my shoulder and I got scared and screamed for a bit. It was pretty funny because they were also shocked but then they laughed at it and told me to lay off the coffee. I got Starbucks in the morning because I just felt super sleepy. I had lunch with my usual team and we just talked about iPhones, the latest iOS update, and how hard college life was for me and for them. We went back and I continued work for a while. Another coworker, my batchmate, also invited me out to hang and chill for a while and I offered to help them install the latest iOS update since I had data. We ate at Sbarro and then went back to the office as the update on their phone had finished. I was also explaining to them the basic concepts of a container, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

My other coworker and I also went out for quick bite and I just bought a small Belgian waffle from a nearby stand before going back to the office. Then once my work was all done I went out for dinner with my coworker batchmate and we also saw another one of our batchmates and we took a photo before sending it to our group chat.

For the rest of the evening, the commute was very quick but I got rained on a little, which was fine. I also noticed that I got the wrong item from a place I ordered from but the people were kind enough to schedule a redelivery tomorrow. I also talked to someone on and off but that was it. I mostly spent the evening consoling my sister on a lot of stuff she was going through but I’m glad everything was okay by the end.
