Saturday continued with me accompanying someone throughout their entire night shift. We mostly just talked about Taylor Swift’s album and other life stuff. I helped them a bit with one of their tasks and setting up the DNS and a basic website for them. I mostly just used the website builder and shared my screen. I was kind of bored so I played my Antok FM playlist on Spotify and someone noticed it. She sang along to most of the songs there and we talked about how people don’t make songs like these anymore and I agreed and said that soft rock is mostly dead. I also played “Gisingin Ang Puso” by Liezel Garcia and someone didn’t seem like she knew the song, but the lyrics eventually came to her and she sang along. We also watched the music video for 12:51 by Krissy & Ericka because someone remembered a funny scene from it and I was interested in seeing what it was. After that, we mostly continued making the website until I finished enough of it for someone to continue later. We watched Chicago (2002) after that and it was a really good movie/musical. It was extremely showgirl-themed and I told someone that Taylor Swift’s album didn’t have any of these showgirl-style songs, and they agreed. We eventually finished the movie and we played a bit of chess here and there. After that, we decided call it a day for us but someone checked on Luan first to see if he’s up for a game and he was. We played Peak and got through the shore, jungle, and alpine biomes but Luan had to drop off at the caldera and someone and I made it through the kiln section, but we couldn’t get up and we eventually died. We really called it a day after that and I messaged Nathan that I’d accompany him today for Cosmania 2025 but I slept first.

When I woke up, it was already 5 p.m. or so but I still got dressed and booked a ride to SMX so I can catch up with Nathan. He was still down and was just there and I immediately got a ride as soon as I could. I eventually met up with Nathan and we just walked around the stalls. I visited the stall of my artist friend but she wasn’t manning the booth so I didn’t really buy anything there. We then went to the main convention area and I took a few photos with some cosplayers, like a Homelander cosplayer, some Miku ones, and there were 2 dudes cosplaying as Peak scouts! I was so excited taking a photo of them because I love the game Peak and I couldn’t believe there were Peak cosplayers here.

I bought a few stuff, mainly bags. I saw this Cup Noodle bag that was pretty big and I immediately bought it since it was fairly-cheap for a waterproof bag. I got sales-talked by the seller because they were selling a gashapon bag for 2,800. It had this small dial on the front and a clear space where you can put gashapons and I just had to get it. It was such a cute bag and I couldn’t resist myself from not getting it. I had bought some smaller plushies so that was cool. We walked around until we got tired and the event was closing anyway since it was around 8 p.m. or so. We had dinner at IKEA and Nathan got meatballs with rice while I got meatballs, rice, pares, and another serving of meatballs because I wanted to be extra. The meatballs were really good and I kept coming back for water refills, so that was nice. We mostly talked about Nathan’s relationship. After that, I tried booking for a ride home which took so long, but eventually we got a ride and Nathan went home first and I eventually got home fine. I just spend the rest of the evening scrolling and finishing writing that blog post.
