Friday would be another day spent at the office and I had a very usual day in the office. I had lunch out with my coworkers and we tried this “new” Mexican restaurant place that we always pass by but have never eaten in. So we just ate there just to try it out and it was pretty good. They had nice complementary nachos and me and another coworker split the bill for a pile of nachos that we couldn’t finish, but they were very generous with the serving. It was really nice and we walked back to the office after that.

For the rest of the day, I just realized that my sister would go and sleep over with a friend. My friends was still at another house so I decided to just not accompany them since they were already at someplace else. I figured that this was the perfect time for me to have my own me time and I just decided to book a stay at the Midas Hotel & Casino for today and tomorrow Saturday.

In the afternoon, my coworkers and I walked around Glorietta for our free time and we checked out some Japanese home goods before going back to the office and then timing out. I immediately went back to my house to get ready and I immediately booked a ride to Midas Hotel once I got my stuff ready. I got rained on while I was commuting home, but it was fine and I was able to dry out my shirt. I also decided to bring my MacBook with me on this trip.

Eventually I got to Midas Hotel and paid for the security deposit, and then got settled in my room. I’m glad I brought my Mac but I kind of regret not bringing my Apple TV. The TV there was kind of old and it was just a dumb TV hooked up to a cable box that I couldn’t play YouTube on, so I just used my Mac to watch Smiling Friends. It was just weird that this was my room TV even though I had booked an “executive suite” which is supposed to be better than my Ardenhills Suites stay, but I guess it is what it is.
