Saturday started with me still continuing to call someone as we normally would on Fridays. This night, we got pizza and I was able to finish mine again.

I eventually got sleepy at around 6 a.m. or so and we were kind of both sleeping at that time anyway. Someone asked me if I should get some sleep and thankfully they let me go after that without issue. I slept for a while but then woke up at 11 a.m. I got ready regardless and it took me such a long time to book a ride to the KTV place. It took me more than 1 hour to book a ride and booking for apps took a big shot out of my battery, around 40% down from 100% which was just whack. Eventually, I found an Angkas ride and the whole trip was pretty quick. I eventually got to the place and I was surprised that there was a Banapple nearby so I just grabbed coffee there and waited for someone.

Eventually, someone arrived and it was nice that she called out to me. We then went upstairs and got into our karaoke room. I think someone went first to song on the mic and she picked out a Taylor Swift song, she also wanted a corner seat. I saw plugs all over the room and kind of regretted not bringing a charger with me, but whatever. We sang quite a lot of songs after that, and I mostly sang pop songs that were very high pitched, so it was hard for me to match them, but I still sang them anyways. Around the end of our karaoke session, we exchanged gifts with each other and she got her Rolife but didn't open it. I did get her Bing Bong plushie and a few gashapons of aespa and Freiren. She didn't get Freiren specifically but she still enjoyed the gashapon regardless. She gifted me a Marlboro bubble thing, which was cute. But she eventually gave me my actual gift which was this Cinnamoroll gift box filled with lots of Cinnamoroll stuff. It was so cute and I was just shocked at how thoughtful this gift was. We sang a few more songs after that and someone suggested we sing more lively, upbeat songs. I was the last singer and I sang California Gurls by Katy Perry. After that, someone had to go and eventually went to do her own stuff for the rest of the day.

I waited a while and then paid for the KTV session, which was only around 600 Pesos since I already paid 1,000 Pesos on Wednesday. I took a while to book a ride but eventually found a ride. It was nice seeing this new electric car and I was talking a bit to the driver. The estimate in the app showed that it was only going to be 140-160 or so Pesos which was pretty cheap. But the ride suddenly got sour as the driver asked me if he could take the expressway rather than going straight through my house. That's when it hit me that I was getting scammed. He went through the expressway, made me pay for the toll, and then got stuck in traffic through several busy intersections. When I got off the ride, I paid 387 and it was a far cry from the 160 Pesos estimate. This total bonehead took the longest route for me to pay the most amount and I fucking hated it. It seriously made my blood boil and almost ruined my day. I don't mind the amount lost, but I just got angry at how I got finessed and scammed this bad. He even tried to take a different route all in an attempt to extort more money out of me but I was able to course correct him. I was so close to just wanting to leave the car at that point. I hated every second of it and it not only burned my money, it burned a lot of the time I had for the day even though it was just 1 hour or 2 hours.

When I got home, I was still fuming and I wondered if the package was stolen, too. But I eventually found it. I talked to Mom for a bit and then we left the call once my sister got home. I made her unbox her new tablet and I was glad that she did get a tablet and that it wasn't stolen in transit. After that, I then went and set it up, got it updated, configured settings, and all that. But once that was done, I gave it to my sister and she seemed to enjoy it. I just chilled for the rest of the evening, mostly I just browsed the Internet before I went to sleep.
