Hotel Mini-Stay!

27.5°C Rainy

Saturday was pretty much half of a blur, too. But in the afternoon, I finally woke up and saw that my sister was preparing to leave for her thing today. I just ate a bit and I was mostly bored. I decided on whether or not I'll book a hotel today because I needed some well-deserved rest and I wanted to sleep at someplace better. I initially decided against it, but pushed through it regardless. I was able to book a suite this time at a fancy 4-star hotel.

I took a while to get a ride and I was already so conscious because I had booked a room late and it was getting late, too. Ideally, I should book for a day at a hotel at around 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the latest. But today was fine, and it was my way of giving myself a break from all the shit that has been going on for the past few months or so. I just needed some time to be with myself, get some rest, and work on a few things on my MacBook. I eventually got there and the check-in was actually quite simple and straightforward. After I checked in and saw the room, I was kind of impressed, to be honest. This looked like some condominium room and it had a kitchen area, as well as a dining table. It was pretty nice and I immediately enjoyed the cold aircon throughout the whole unit. After that, I called Mom for a bit and we discussed what we were planning to do over the holidays. I went outside to Mendokoro to eat dinner and it was pretty nice, I got the Super Chashu again, as always, and I got a chashu burger for takeout. I walked around to get some coffee at Starbucks and I got myself a cake while I'm at it. I was surprised that there was a Ramen Nagi nearby and I decided on whether or not I should eat there tomorrow since I wanted to try the lobster tail ramen again, but then I just went back to the hotel since I was burning time while I was out.

For the rest of the evening, I was mostly concerned with just chilling and catching up on my mood calendar entries for the past few days. I couldn't sleep tonight for some reason, but I mostly spent the time just enjoying how nice the stay here was and taking it all in. I eventually thought that it would be worth it to work hard enough to be able to afford a place like this as a home in the future.
