Our Stay at a 5-Star Hotel!

Christmas Eve started with me staying on call with someone. They mostly just worked and I just watched them play Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. In the background, I was troubleshooting why one of the games I bought didn't work. But eventually our call ended and we got started on preparing our stuff before we leave for Dusit Thani in a bit.

My sister and I spent most of the afternoon just preparing our stuff for later. Around 2 p.m. or so, we booked a ride to Dusit Thani. Check-in was actually pretty quick were it not for the long line that was held up by strange people who wanted to get special rooms. But since we had everything neatly lined up, our check-in was fairly quick and generally hassle-free. We went up to the room and immediately had to set everything up. I had a bit of a hard time setting up the Apple TV box, but once that was done, we were listening to Christmas movies and Christmas songs.

Around 6 p.m. or so, instead of attending Christmas Eve Mass, we instead went to NAIA to pick up Mom. We noticed that her flight was close to arriving so we booked a ride to NAIA Terminal 1 to pick her up. My sister and I book separate rides to get to NAIA and my sister gets there first, while I take a while and have to add a big tip just to get there. Also, for some weird reason, the biker's helmet smelled like puke. But whatever, we eventually get to the terminal and wait a while for our Mom to arrive. We meet up with her shortly and we book a ride directly back to Dusit Thani so we can enjoy our vacation.

We quickly found a ride and the rider was pretty helpful with our stuff. We eventually got to unpack Mom's stuff in the hotel room and we got dressed and ready for our dinner. We walked around for a bit and we even walked until Greenbelt only to find that there isn't a single store open right now. We found out that they had all mostly closed by 7 p.m. and this place looked like a ghost town, even though it was only 10 p.m. My sister felt so tired and almost like she was passing out.

So we just hightail it back to our hotel room. We passed by a Lawson on our way back and we ate for a bit there, which was nice. We eventually made our way back to our hotel room and we were able to order food from Filling Station. We ate for a while and then Mom watched a new episode of her Netflix show. We take a few pictures before we called it a day.
