Samgyupsal with the RC!

I got A LOT of sleep today and I actually woke up very late in the day. I had, like, almost 11 hours of sleep. Luckily, I woke up just in time as the other people were preparing and I managed to get a ride to Samgyupsalamat quickly because I was worried of getting there late.

I arrived a bit late, but I think I did arrive just in time as the people had just started to meet up outside the store. I got to greet my friends and they thought that I was some tech billionaire, which made me laugh because my real-life situation was so far from that. We eventually all got inside and I got seated next to Jaymz, with Lorenz and Shanda sitting the opposite of us. A lot of us were there, surprisingly enough, and we were 21 people, which absolutely shocked me. I caught up with Lorenz, Jaymz, and Shanda, and I mostly asked them how their flight careers are going and stuff. After that, I opened up a bit about my work and even showed them how much I make in a year, which was okay but it seemed like a big amount to them. And I heard Jaymz get impressed a bit because he knows I dropped out of college, so that was nice. Then Jaymz also catches us up on what he's been doing, his routine, and stuff like that. I also asked him about his gf, which was nice to hear about since I think he's found the one for him. The whole time we were talking, we just kept ordering and ordering. We had to manually follow up with a few things because our orders took too long to get served, but it was honestly fun to talk and chat with my friends even though it's been months or even years since we last talked one-on-one. I really enjoyed their company and it honestly felt nice to be in such a big friend group. I borrowed JK's phone and I asked the waitress to take a big group pic of is since we don't have a lot of photos together, and it was really cool that we have this one big group photo.

After that, I paid the bill and they asked me to pay it and that they'd have to transfer the money to me, which I was down for. We then all went outside and talked in the big amphitheater nearby and I showed them how weird my IG feed has been and I joked with them for a bit. The other group, the ones playing Dungeons & Dragons, had split off from us after this and it was just our core RC group left. We got to Starbucks and we just talked and stayed there until it closed, which didn't take long as it was near closing time anyway. I mostly just talked to Jaymz and Lorenz, which were to the right and left of me, and I asked Lorenz why he was using an iPhone and stuff, and what he's been doing lately.

The store closed shortly after and it had apparently started raining. We walked around for a bit more and we eventually met Jaymz's girlfriend and joked arounthat.hiler shortly before we went our separate ways. It took me a while to get a motorcycle ride home, even after the rain had stopped pouring, so I just said “fuck it” and booked a car ride home for myself. I just got some rest after that.
