Today was the day I finally got to meet someone for the first time in a while. It's been months since we last met and we haven't really talked much in the past few days. I spent most of the morning just chilling at home. I got a little worried and a bit concerned since it's been a while since her answered, but I just figured she's doing her own thing so I just sent her a “take care” message since it was raining bad. I mostly just watched some Project Zomboid content and played a bit of it. I talked to someone on and off and eventually decided to book a ride around 4 p.m. to SM Bicutan alone and I took a motorcycle ride there. I got there first and essentially just waited for them to arrive. It was kinda strange since they didn't seem to be answering, even after I had called them, which was weird but whatever. We eventually met in the mall and it didn't have Samgyupsalamat here, so we just went to Tong Yang since I wanted to eat quite a bit. I showed them some stuff about it and then we caught up. It turns out that they had met that guy yesterday and that they had spent it in Laguna at a cafe and then in their car. It was a pretty crazy story to hear and I still cannot believe that all this happened for this month, but I'm not surprised. I remembered something from high school and I asked Loy if Frits had said the term, and he claimed he did. It was just funny because the term was, “prepare for maximum bullshit” and I found it so funny back then, although I wasn't sure about the context. Thinking about that line from Frits over and over actually made me feel better and more okay with the stuff I was about to expect today. After eating, we walked around for a bit, at the food hall, then to Starbucks where we just chilled. They seemed super stressed out at the predicament that they were in and I was just here chilling. Around this time, her had messaged me and they just updated me about their day, which was super nice to hear because I was kind of looking forward to talking to them. I talked to them for a bit as I was getting coffee and then I got our drinks and I mostly just listened to them rant about how they always find themselves in these situations. And I joked that this was unlike before since she actually found the people she liked interesting and had feelings for some. It was unexpected, but I got to open up a bit about her, even though I didn't share much. I was able to ask them about stoicism and then they asked me about how I manage it, and then I told them about how I view my life currently: I can never know or fully control what comes next in life. I'm just an actor playing a role and I'm simply handed the next scene in life. What I have to do is to adapt and try my best. And I guess they found it interesting, which was nice. They figured that we should call it a day and they seemed tired anyway, so I agreed and we left it here. We both headed home and I took a motorcycle ride back home. Thankfully, it didn't rain that much and I got to go home safe. I talked to her for a bit about our plans for tomorrow and then I just played Project Zomboid to pass the time and enjoy the weekend.
