Today turned out to be a pretty boring, but chill, Sunday. I was surprised because I expected shit to go down today or something big would happen, but no, nothing did. I got some good rest in the morning and then I had brunch with my sister, and in the afternoon we were just chilling at home. Since it was such a nice, sunny day outside, I figured that I might as well go out again. I went to Rockwell since they had a shopping event going on with lots of booths. I got there and I just walked around and tried some ube-matcha-cereal thing which was totally weird and new, so I wanted to try it. After that, I was pretty much bored since I was by there myself. I decided to watch Resident Evil since I would be staying there for the day and then just ate an early dinner. While I was at 8cuts, I just felt really sad and lonely for some reason. I tried to cheer myself up by focusing on the people living their lives, enjoying music that was being played by an elderly gentleman, and I tried hard to just focus on them. Somehow, it didn't fully stave off my loneliness, but it helped a bit. After eating, I eventually watched Resident Evil (2026) and it was pretty alright. It was a bit loud and I got scared at the first few parts. A lot of the references in the video game probably flew over my head since I didn't get any of it, but it was fine. There were a lot of people in the theater and a lot of jumpscares, but I didn't get scared anymore, especially by the time the old dude appeared in the farmhouse, which didn't scare me at all. I did recommend a movie to my sister that we should watch because the trailer seemed scary, though. After that, I just went home and then sat with my emotions for a bit. I was so bored and nothing in my life was progressing, so I decided to just meet new people again and downloaded Bumble for the nth time. I got so frustrated trying to find my old bio but I couldn't, so I just wrote myself a new one. Today was pretty lonely and boring—this whole weekend was. I really expected some big, positive, life-changing thing to come around, but it was actually super boring with nothing happening.
