Today started with me accompanying someone through her working hours. We were still in a call on Discord and we talked about a lot of things. She also showed me the kittens that she's taking care of, which were cute. I was still not used to seeing her with black hair, which was still a nice surprise. We kept talking and talking all throughout the night and it was genuinely nice to hear her say that it was nice to talk to me again. Her shift eventually finished and we stopped talking at around 7 a.m. or so. I had told her that I just planned to code and do some stuff at my favorite place in BGC, which was Starbucks 32nd Street, and I slept after that.

I followed through with going to Starbucks even though my foot wasn't fully healed. It was walkable enough for me to walk comfortably around and bring my MacBook along with me. It was really nice to go to Starbucks with the "right" MacBook now. I was able to do some work like switching over to my own fork of Material Color Utilities and publishing that as an NPM package, which was pretty nice as I plan to use the updated fork in my Material 3 Expressive update.

Unfortunately, I didn't stay there for long as I eventually had to go home to play games and be in a call with someone. I played Sky with them and we played Peak with Luan. After that, we played a few rounds of Buckshot Roulette where they both teamed up on me for a round or so. It was all pretty fun and I got to keep talking with someone about her feelings and a few things she's anxious about.
