Failed Five Stars!

Today was once again a day in the office but, thankfully (and sadly), it would be my final day in the office for the month. Today actually started with me and someone still playing, but I eventually went to sleep after that.

Thankfully, I wasn't super late to the office and I got there relatively on time. It was just my coworker and I, just like yesterday, and it was your usual day in the office for me. Nothing much went on and we had lunch at Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken in Glorietta. I ordered their dynamite (which was superior than Señor Pollo's one, sorry), their chicken skin which I missed, and I had their new menu selection which my coworker also got. We mostly talked about their time and experience in the company, and it shocked me to hear that there were salary reductions when they entered. It honestly put a lot of fear into me but they reassured me that it only happened once and they haven't seen it happen again. We kept eating and I eventually ordered my dynamite and chicken skin as take-out. After that we went back to the office and work went on as usual.

In the afternoon, I was kind of bored so I went out to get some merienda alone and I got Dairy Queen. I also called someone during this time because I wanted to talk to them and have them watch as I do some spins in Genshin. It was super painful because I kept spinning and spinning for this Genshin archon, Mavuika. I kept topping up and adding more and more money, but I ultimately didn't get her even after spending 6,000 Pesos on spins. I kind of regret not getting the 5,000 Pesos worth of spins since I would've gotten so much more for that, but whatever. I also toured someone on how I entered my workplace building and she says that it looked so futuristic. It was also dumb of me because I spilled some Dairy Queen on the way there. My mobile signal also got cut off while in the elevator so someone didn't really see me enter my workplace. I was still in a call with her and did a few spins while eating my Dairy Queen in the office pantry and she eventually asked me to stop after spending so much money on spins. I did get a 5-star character, and it was Dehya, which I didn't like at all because she didn't fit in any of my team compositions. But whatever, we played some Genshin and I showed her Wanderer's boss fight and she was a bit interested in facing off against them. We ended the call after that and I went back to my desk to finish my work for the week.

For the remainder of the day, I met up with my sister because we were working in the same building today, surprisingly enough. We had dinner and I suggested Peri-Peri again, and I ordered dynamite again but I didn't get a sharing bundle. We both got the dish my coworker and I ordered earlier and my sister liked it! After that, she mostly shared about her day and what happened at her work. She was mostly fine, albeit a bit rattled over what to do/feel on what happened earlier. I tell her that it's fine and we finish our food and I get the dynamite for take-out.

I bought her a few books at the newly-opened Fully Booked nearby and I bought Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Roderick Rules for myself. I book us both a car for our ride home and, thankfully, we got home safe and alright. Since it was a Friday, I stayed up late with someone and got into a call with her that lasted all night, even though I had to meet up with my friends the next day.
