Lethal Company Again and Almost at the Peak!

Nothing noteworthy happened in the morning and for work so my time during those periods really just passed by.

But after my shift, someone invited me to a game of Lethal Company with Luan because he missed it. I installed it and played with them for a few rounds before we decided to go and play Peak again. This run started like any other typical run and I even thought it was a doomed run because someone poisoned me at the start. This ticked me off a bit so I killed my character by getting fully poisoned and dying, not speaking much for the first stage. Luan also died at the first stage so it was just someone carrying us both at the top. She brought along the plushie in the game, Bing Bong, and someone was able to revive us at the end of the first stage. I was honestly pretty ticked off but I just decided to not speak much because I was still frustrated.

We kept going and I scouted out a spot/way for us to climb up the jungle stage and we all surprisingly made it. Next was the tundra stage which we usually die to or have severe difficulties in getting over. But we were able to get through a massive chasm by using a chain launcher to get across a piece of ice and using an anti-gravity rope to get us up a difficult wall. Someone was still carrying Bing Bong in her inventory during the past runs.

We get to the cauldron stage and that's where it finally gets serious for me. My mind was entirely locked in since this stage. It was the first time us 3 got through the tundra stage with everyone alive so it was honestly serious that we could have a shot at reaching the peak with us 3 still alive. We push through the several mountains and islands of rocks across the lava pool and we eventually got through the cauldron stage! We unpack the various luggage at the start and I take a photo of someone holding Bing Bong out while we were unpacking the luggage.

ONE LAST STAGE REMAINED BETWEEN US AND THE PEAK.

It was time for us to go through the kiln and get up the volcano interior to reach the Peak. Luan had to AFK for a while before starting which honestly took up a while and made our hunger bar larger but we pushed through. We then kept climbing up until we had to use the Bugle of Friendship to get to the top. Someone was playing the bugle while me and Luan climbed up. Unfortunately, someone didn't have enough stamina to climb up and she couldn't reach the rope even though Luan tried setting it. I tried to grab her while she was climbing but then fell and died, which honestly broke my heart. Someone also didn't have a chance so she just brought out Bing Bong and jumped to their death. It was honestly soul crushing to see someone die with Bing Bong.

We then spectated Luan as he had a piton in his inventory which could have helped and a lollipop in his bag. It honestly broke my heart because we could have made it out as 3 but this horrible twist of fate just had to happen. I felt like my heart was crushed or that I had just been broken up with. In the end, Luan boards the chopper and left us to die, including Bing Bong.

It left a bittersweet taste in my mouth but someone was still game to play and we played a few rounds of Lethal Company afterward. It was okay, but it wasn't as fun as the accomplishment we could have gotten if we had just gotten to the peak with us 3 complete. It was a shame, but I honestly had a lot of fun and days like this remain a treasure to me.
