Thursday started off a little boring because someone couldn’t watch a horror movie yesterday and she says that she still wants to continue watching Talk to Me (2022). They couldn’t really wait for me so they pushed through with watching it and I went to sleep because I had on-site work in the morning.

I woke up relatively okay and things were pretty normal. I’m glad to have today as my last day in the office for the month, so I was kind of psyched. I got ready and booked for a ride to the office and my usual, boring day followed. I didn’t spend lunch with my coworkers today because they had a team lunch with other higher-ups so I just had lunch by myself. I didn’t really do anything extravagant and I was just mostly immersed in work for today. Still, it was nice to just have a breather and do some work in the office.

For the rest of the afternoon, I didn’t do much aside from just doing work. A coworker invited me out and we got dinner at El Pollo Loco in Glorietta. We talked about policies and a few other things, but that was mostly it. Some of my coworkers talked to me to give me the remaining beef jerky, but that was mostly it. I went home after that and it felt nice because I didn’t have to work on-site anymore.

In the evening, I finally got home and I played Yapyap with someone and Luan. It was a pretty fun game, we had some fun learning some of the spells and playing around with the new wands we unlocked. As with the start of any new game, we mostly just played around and didn’t really get the game mechanics in the first playthrough. We really didn’t meet quota and kept failing, but it was all fun and good. We moved on to Phasmophobia to explore some of the Halloween maps and we got a few good rounds where we guessed the correct ghosts, so that was nice. After that, we left the game and I mostly just accompanied someone for the evening. We tried to watch Bring Her Back (2025) but it was too disturbing after the kid rammed a knife in his face. Extreme, realistic gore wasn’t really our thing so we passed on the movie and just talked for the evening. She showed me her new hair sticks and our call continued to the next day.
