For Wednesday, I didn’t really do much aside from check on my sister after my call with someone and her boyfriend told me to check up on her to make sure she was asleep. I messaged her boyfriend and told him that he should visit us in the morning and look over Ailysh. In the morning, I got woken up by my uncle and I was told that Ailysh had to be rushed to the hospital. I booked a ride to St. Lukes because they had just been admitted to the ER there and I got there quickly enough in the morning. I got inside and it was like a maze navigating to the ER. It wasn’t obvious so I had to wait for my aunt to get to Starbucks and I met up with her. Then Ailysh’s boyfriend meets up with me there and directs me to the ER where he’ll swap with me to watch over her because only 1 person is allow to accompany ER patients.

I eventually meet up with Ailysh and she tells me she’s tired of thinking about the future which just sounds heartbreaking. I saw her hooked up to a machine that monitors her vitals, so that was cool like in House MD. I stand by her and watch her have a few operations done on her, but it wasn’t that big, just a bunch of small diagnostic tests and monitoring for her vitals. I eventually meet up with my other family members Shannen and Hanna and we take turns in watching over Ailysh.

We eventually reconvene in Starbucks and even get food in the afternoon. We just walked to Burger King and then ate a few burgers. After that we mostly just wait for the doctors to evaluate Ailysh’s condition because we weren’t sure if she’s going to be admitted or not. But she eventually was and it was another long wait for a room. In the meantime, I just tried to be productive by studying up on Jenkins and spinning up a new instance of one of my servers so I can install Jenkins on it. Eventually, Ailysh’s friend Thea meets up with her and they talk before we escort Ailysh into her room. For the rest of the day, I just charge up my devices and for Ailysh’s devices, too. Another one of my cousins comes over to help check up on Ailysh and it was nice to see Ailysh just get a lot of rest.
