December 27 had me getting some good rest and I went downstairs to the breakfast buffet. The buffet here was nice, but it wasn't comparable to the one at Dusit Thani or City Garden GRAND Hotel. I liked it, for what it was, but I didn't overeat or anything. I then got ready and enjoyed whatever's left of my time here before checking out.

I tried to get a car ride to Dusit Thani, but some weird driver kept cancelling so I just decided to hike it instead. It was a long walk, but I was able to enjoy it and I got to get some steps in for today. Nothing much happened after that, we went back home and unpacked all of our stuff.

In the evening, I had planned to meet with my new Ukranian/Russian friend and we planned to meet at Starbucks on 32nd Street. We eventually met up, talked, and I helped them set up their website and handles most of the cost that came with the initial setup. We eventually had to walk so that they could meet their friend at this bar and we stopped over Burger King and treated them for dinner. She was nice, we talked about the differences between living in the Philippines vs Russia, how their kids were, and other plans that they have in the future. It was nice to have a really laid-back conversation and I eventually had to drop them off to their friend and I had to go home. I just rested and Nathan invited me to a convention tomorrow.
