For January 2, nothing much really happened and I just spent it at home. In the evening, someone messaged me and they explained their situation.
Shortly after, we got into a call and I mostly just watched them keep playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. That call went on until the next day since I had nothing to do anyway.
