For Thursday, I spent the start of it in a call with my friends as they wanted me to watch Lake Mungo (2008) to see how I would react. I pretty much enjoyed it and it took me a while to settle in, but I was eventually into it after a few minutes of watching. It seemed like a pretty long movie and it dragged on for a bit, before unveiling the twists in the story which made me hooked into the story. Eventually, we got to the part where the ghost of her dead self appeared to Alice and it absolutely shocked me when it kind of “jumpscared” the audience. I definitely did not expect a jumpscare because this was framed as a “mockumentary” but, wow, that caught me off guard. I eventually finished the movie and I talked about it with my friends before I got some rest. I watched a few more YouTube videos before getting some sleep because the movie scared me a great deal.

In the morning, I actually planned to go to the office today, but my friends told me something.

I eventually relented because I felt sorry for them and I wanted them to be okay. I just accompanied them through the day and I got them food from Yabu because they've been wanting it for a while, too. They seemed pretty cheery after that and I eventually got to work as they had to rest. The rest of my workday was pretty uneventful and I timed out just fine. In the evening, I got into a call with Luan and eventually my friends joined in for FNaF 2. It was time for us to watch Luan's next gameplay and I got some chips from a nearby sari-sari store while watching some of Luan's gameplay. It was actually impressive to me that he played FNaF 2 well and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time because I wasn't sure if he was going to fail or not. But it was really impressive that he got through THE ENTIRE GAME without getting a single jumpscare. He didn't fail once. I had failed FNaF 2 so many times in my recent playthrough but seeing Luan play the game was honestly cool.

After that, he played FNaF 3 and he wasn't as great as the last installment because he failed to track Springtrap a few times. I told them that this was my favorite game in the series, too, because I remember playing it a lot around college and it had the least scary jumpscares, but that's what also made it cool. Regardless, Luan eventually called it a day and I then got into a call with my friends and watch them play AC: Odyssey instead. They defeated a cyclops, which was cool. Our call continued to the next day because we also watched season 5 of Single's Inferno.
