I finally got my Korean visa!!

Today started out pretty weird, to be honest. I had a dream about my Korean visa. It was just a piece of paper in black and white appearing to me in a dream and, wow, I couldn't believe it that it was a premonition of some sort.

The rest of the morning and day was actually relatively routine and chill, thankfully. My heart couldn't take any more rollercoasters after yesterday. But for today, I had my usual stuff: commuting to work, working on-site, and doing a round of morning tasks. Before lunch, I checked out the website for issuing Korean visas and I was so surprised to see that the text had changed. It went from 심사 중/in review to 허가/approved. I was sat on my chair and I wanted to jump and shout on the spot but I was able to calm myself down enough. I immediately told my family and then someone about it, and I just had to get steak afterwards.

It was such a rush of happy emotions and I was glad that all the hard work of gathering paperwork, walking to several places just to get X document prepared and Y document sorted out. And the wait for the visa, the staying in line, was now totally worth it. Well, it was already worth it just by doing it, but it's nice to see some positive payoff. So I initially tried to find a restaurant to eat at and eventually settled on a restaurant that had steak and I just had my usual lunch out, but this was the second day I'm just spending it alone.

But after eating, I eventually went back to work, had a meeting, and had a few things wrapped up before finding enough time for an afternoon break.

So hopefully my flight situation is fixed, and I found it reasonable enough for my ticket to be around 13,000-ish for a round-trip flight to Korea. I just continued on with my day and eventually wrapped up work late. I had some lunch and I eventually tried that Japanese restaurant that everyone kept ordering food from, and it was great! I also ordered some take-out for my sister because she wanted to eat hakaw. I then went home afterward and mainly just chilled. I was able to find enough time to catch up with the news and what's going on in the world, enough to form my own opinions on it.
