Tue
I woke up early today, for some wild reason.
I got some rest again and eventually woke up in the morning. I just chilled for a while, I replied and talked to Mon for a while before preparing to leave since I would get them that Chagee tumbler and so I could drop off some stuff.
After a while, I was able to pay for Mon's drink, and mine, and I even ordered a 3rd drink for no reason. I wasn't all that shocked about the bill, though, since it was only 1,500 and I just shipped the tumbler and 2 drinks to Mon for her to enjoy. I booked a ride home after all that was done.
Thankfully, Mon liked my jasmine milk tea suggestion! She said that it tastes more tea than milk, which she liked. And she was kind enough to give the extra drink to one of her coworkers. She said that the tumbler looked so cute and she thanked me because it made her day. I felt appreciated a lot, and we talked in and out throughout the morning and afternoon.
I mostly just had worked and focused on my tasks for the day and replied to some emails.
Once my work was done, I moved into a call with Luan and someone where we watched Luan go through more parts of BioShock Infinite. I also noticed that someone wasn't paying attention much and I heard a large Telegram notification which I had called them out for, but eventually they seemed to focus more on the game afterward. We just continued to watch the gameplay and point out some stuff in the story.
Meanwhile, I was just chatting with Mon and I asked about what happened in her day. Then she showed me some of her artwork and even a journal entry from December last year. They talked about how transient some relationships are and that people come and go, and it seemed super eerie because the theme was kind of like an expiration date for food. And I literally wrote a blog post about the same topic, down to the same expiration date analogy! It was super freaky, but also kind of cute, but also strange that we had such a similar thought occur within months of each other. I asked Mon for some recommendations on skincare stuff, like a moisturizer and sunblock for me to try out.
For the rest of the evening, I just chilled at home and waited for Jaze so we could hang out again for the night. We went to our usual spot, which were the food tents in McKinley Hill. We talked about the global situation while on the way there and we eventually got there just fine. I ordered some isaw and Jaze took a stick of isaw from me since I had a lot. He suggested we go to Army Navy because I keep suggesting it, but I already had my fix last weekend so we ate at his next suggestion: Pizza Hut. We rode there and I got us a pair of pizzas for 1,100 Pesos or so. These were originally meant for take-out, but we just ate them in the restaurant just fine. I fixed his resume by looking at templates, and ultimately giving him mine so I could easily port over some details from his old resume into his new one. They didn't serve any water so we went to our actual, usual hangout spot there which was Assi Fresh Plaza.
We first went to 7-Eleven to buy our usual drinks and water, plus some biscuits. Then we got to Assi Fresh Plaza. I ordered my usual Korean ice cream and I just updated Jaze's resume from the template I use. I was able to port over a lot of stuff and list down some technical skills for him. Then he closed up his laptop and we just went to 7-Eleven to just talk about random stuff like schoolmates and how rich they are. I also checked up on how much a Porsche is and I didn't know that it was 1.8 million Pesos, and I just had a bit of anxiety in me because I just want my life to get better enough to the point that I buy a Porsche one day. After that we called it a day and drove back to my house, and Jaze actually took the wrong way because he was spacing out. But eventually I got home safe and enjoyed my day.
