I got some of the shortest amounts of sleep I ever had. I tried to writAssid finish my blog post because I was feeling super down, but I couldn't find a way to write the conclusion for it, so I just wrote some journal entries for the past few days and then slept.

In the morning, I woke up and I got a few messages from Mon about a new band she found. She updated the playlist she shared to me and I messaged her as soon as I woke up. We had a little back and forth and she asked me if I was okay because I was gone yesterday. I was so swamped with work and other stuff and I got to explain to her, and thankfully she understood what happened and all that. It's still nice to hear that she got concerned, even if it was only for a bit. We got to talking until I prepared to leave for work. I eventually got a ride and then commuted to the office while listening to the new songs she had put in to the playlist she shared. It was super strange that these are mostly/all love songs, though.

By the time I got to the office, I had set up my stuff and worked on my primary tasks for today. I messaged Mon in the small breaks I got between tasks and I mostly asked them how their mood was, how they were doing with regards to work, and also about the Chagee tumbler I got for her since I didn't ask about it yesterday. I honestly noticed it a bit that we shared the same humor because she made a joke I would make, and we noticed more and more similarities as we kept talking throughout the day.

I was also busy with some tasks and I noticed a few things that I was messaging to my coworkers about. Until one of my other coworkers pokes me a bit in the back which scares me and I could hear them, as well as a few others in our vicinity, look at us and laugh or look intrigued. I think I startled them a bit too much. But everyone had a good laugh at my expense so it was all good. I had lunch out with some of them and I got to order some Korean cheesy noodles, which were okay but still seemed a bit expensive. They mostly just joked around and teased me throughout lunch, too, but it was cool. I went back to the office with the others after that. I still had some downtime so I talked to Mon about some games she was interested in playing and I was surprised that she was familiar with a few PC games I had like BioShock and especially Life Is Strange. She also showed me her keyboard and it was funny because her keyboard was all dark and clean looking, she even put in the effort of 3D printing stuff on her keyboard, and I teased her by calling her a nerd. I showed her my keyboard and she laughed because of how opposite we were and I was rocking this Cinnamoroll keyboard. We talked for a bit more and then I focused back on my work as my break ended.

In the afternoon, I was mostly focused on completing some tasks and helping out answer some tickets. I had finished a bulk of what was needed to be done and so I took a break by going to this cafe that Mon recommended since I was down to try another one of her recommendations. I tried that drink and I showed Mon some pictures of me preparing the coffee and then gave her my thoughts on it. She also told me of her plans for tomorrow as I was just chilling. It was interesting because this was the time where I showed my drawing tablet to Mon and she told me that we both had the same brand and model as our first-ever drawing tablet. She also talked about how she spilt coffee on hers, which I just found funny and such a Mon thing to do. We kept talking and she eventually told me about how she was interested in watching Beyond the Spider-Verse which was showing next year. I was surprised just by hearing that she was interested in it, too, and so she drafted a makeshift contract where we both sign it and that we'll watch the last Spider-Verse movie together. After signing it, I got back to work and focused until I timed out.

For the evening, my coworkers and I planned to go out and have dinner again. We walked all the way from the office to Koobideh Kebabs. I was mostly engrossed on my phone during this time because I was talking to Mon and this was the part where things got eerie due to how many similarities but opposites we shared. For starters, our main friend group is composed of 3 people. The opposite between us is that, for my friend group the Baguettes, we're composed of 2 girls and 1 guy. For her, her group has 2 guys and she's the only girl. It's also weird that, for my group, 2 members have left the company we started our friend group in, leaving only 1 member still in the company. For Mon's group, 2 members stayed in the company and 1 had left, which is the direct inverse of our group. The only weird similarity is that Mon and I are both the only single people in our friend group. It was extremely puzzling to me and also a bit crazy, in my opinion, because I couldn't believe how similar yet opposite our worlds are. I also found out that Mon likes Vocaloid and Laufey, which was pretty cute.

We eventually got to Koobideh Kebabs and by this time Mon was showing me some Vocaloid stuff as well as this other Japanese singer before she slept for the night. I was talking to someone during this time as well but they also seemed busy so I just focused on talking with my coworkers and joking with them. I got questioned and put on the hot seat but I honestly didn't care as I was able to answer some of their questions and reveal a bit of backstory of how much of a simp I used to be, even getting a crate of Pepsi Blue for a girl I liked back then.

I walked back to the office after this and I got someone's Starbucks gift card. I didn't have much going on so I asked Jaze if he was free to hang out today and he agreed to meet up later. I didn't have much to do so I just had work and then went home after that. I just passed time and waited until Jaze was free to hang out.
