Aquafield Goyang Spa Day!

29.3°C Showers

Today was my 7th day in Korea and my last full day of staying at this hotel. I started the day by ordering a ticket and deciding which Aquafield I wanted to go to since I had 3 options: Hanam, Goyang, and Anseong. I essentially just chose the one in Goyang since it seemed the closest and most-reviewed. I also booked a KTX ticket from Busan to Seoul, and took a screenshot of my booking at Toyoko Inn Busan. After that, I slept and I got a really good night's rest according to my Apple Watch, which was a full 8 hours and 12 minutes. I barely woke up since I was so knocked out.

I took things slow today and didn't really rush things, but I had to commute from the hotel to Gyeonggi-do. It was a bit confusing but I essentially took the bus to the train station at Guro Digital Complex, and then took the train from there. I eventually got off near the Dorimcheon Stream and took a few photos while I was walking to Aquafield Goyang. I saw that it was inside another Starfield mall, which kind of shocked me at how large this mall company was. I eventually went inside and the mall was super huge. I kind of got lost a bit again, but I eventually found where it was. I was able to claim my ticket that I booked through Klook, and I got changed. I was still kind of weirded out by the naked dudes at first, and I was even a bit conscious, but it was fine and I got the hang of it. I tried out a few of their spa pools, and I even got a body and foot scrub from an old guy, which was funny and definitely an interesting experience. It was funny because I initially got scolded for wandering around because I didn't know where the area was, but I eventually got queued up for the massage just fine. They also asked where I was from. But after that, I tried out the other features of the spa like the sauna room. I eventually got out of the spa and into the “common area” which had everyone else.

For the afternoon, I ate at the food court and I kind of ordered a lot again. I had some bibimbap as well as some fried mandu and then some beef cuts, which were all really delicious. The beef cuts were my favorite of the bunch. Needless to say, it filled me up and I just lounged and chilled for the rest of my time there. I went to the room with beds and watched some Korean TV and lied back until the evening. For the evening, I tried out the other rooms, ate at the food court again, and this time I tried out some chicken bits and fries, as well some yukgaejang. I tried out the massage chair for a bit more, but eventually decided on leaving as it was getting really late. The bill for my trip was an astounding 133,500 Korean Won which was around 5,500 Pesos. It kind of shocked me, but I essentially spent a day pampering myself, so it was all worth it to me. I took a car ride back to the hotel because I didn't want to stress myself out further and I guess the taxi driver got confused because they passed by me, and then they had to make a turn and I had to cross the street just to get to them. But after that, it was smooth sailing back to my hotel room. I got another hot bath in my room's large bathtub and I essentially just enjoyed the rest of the night at this hotel room. In the late evening, I had a bit of an argument with someone over how they'd pick me up from NAIA, so that ticked me off a bit and that ruined my night a bit since I slept while not resolving anything.
