Meh?

Today was pretty straightforward. I wasn't able to sleep much because I was having acid attacks and burping while sleeping. I slept for only 2 hours or so, funny enough.

I was just working from home and my sister made breakfast, even though I didn't feel like eating yet. She also needed her room cooled because she locked her windows because it was so noisy outside, which led to my room being pretty hot and not properly cooled the whole day, but it was fine. I just had work in the morning.

For the afternoon, I didn't do much aside from focus on my job. I eventually finished all my tasks and timed out for work, and then I watched the new episode of The Boys. It was pretty “meh” and I didn't know what to feel from it. Also, I asked Jaze if we were still down to go out tonight but he had other stuff so I just decided to watch a movie alone. I watched In The Grey (2026) at Venice Grand Canal and I really just wanted a reason to take my new iPhone Air out for a try and the movie was okay. I expected some kind of Now You See Me-type stuff or Ocean's Eleven, but nothing too spectacular.

What's funny and creepy about it was that it was just me in the movie theater alone AGAIN. This totally reminds me of my time when I watched Tron: Ares last year. It was creepy! I was the only person watching the film in the entire movie theater, which was funny but also sad. It kind of reminded me of that IG Reel where a guy was alone the whole day and didn't talk to anyone. I did like some scenes and then had to go out with some people, which made me feel less alone. I had Army Navy and then went home, I mostly just talked to someone and asked them about their Davao trip and how disastrous their day had been going before sleeping.

Today was still nice because I got to talk with a few friends, like Kai, Naomi, someone, Frits, and even Jaze for a bit. I also just remembered that I had upcoming plans for the weekend with Naomi and Kai, too, which was funny because I totally forgot since it wasn't on my calendar.
