Saturday had me and Jaze still out in Makati. We eventually got to The Original Pares Mami House Retiro, which we learned is a franchise of the same restaurant we kept visiting near Manila. I was honestly shocked, but also glad since they probably have the same pares recipe as the original place.

We place our orders, some beef pares, siomai, and I wanted to be different so I got us stuffed shrimp. I quickly notice that the recipe was almost exactly the same, but Jaze says that it tastes a bit more watery compared to the original. We ate the other side dishes, but I couldn't eat much of the stuffed shrimp because it wasn't my thing, and Jaze didn't eat much, too, since apparently he had some seafood allergy that I just learned now.

Afterward, we just had the food for take-out and went to Assi Fresh Plaza to just chill and grab some drinks. I got some snacks, and I just munched on them as Jaze was telling me of the latest drama that was going on in our Discord, which just shocks me because it seemed a bit extreme. But apparently it's just some minor stuff that'll blow over in a few days. We wrap it up after that and I eventually got back home safe.

For the day, I didn't plan on much aside from catching up on my journal entries. I booked a ride to Starbucks 32nd Street and worked on some stuff, but for some reason I just couldn't finish my entries. I just parked them for now and eventually got dinner by myself.

I tried to find a USB C to DisplayPort cable, that I know for sure Datablitz sells, but they said that they were all out of. When I stepped out, it apparently had started raining, and I was immediately glad that I brought my Cinnamoroll today. I walked down to One Bonifacio High Street and ate at Cafe Mediterranean since I was craving Mediterranean food anyway. I took a few photos and sent them to Mon, which she teased me about, but I enjoyed my food a lot. I LOVED the lamb gyro and I guess I just love lamb that much. I had some brownies, and had the leftover of my appetizer for take-out. I tried to look for a USB C to DisplayPort cable, but I couldn't find any so I just booked a ride home and then got some well-deserved rest.
