Night Walk with Kai

It was finally the weekend and I spent it staying up for as much as I could with someone. We both ordered food and ate while watching something from the Weird History Food channel and we just spent some time watching various YouTube videos, and stuff. After a while, I eventually slept while someone was on break and I woke up at 6 a.m., with them waking up at around the same time, too. I eventually called it a day since I had been feeling so stressed the whole week. We called it a day there and left the call.

For the rest of the day, I had stuff with my sister and her boyfriend planned. I booked a ride for us and we eventually got there relatively on-time. I didn't realize it, but I had actually booked for a movie whose time slot would be YESTERDAY and not today, which was a boneheaded move for me and was honestly my mistake. I don't know why, but I also faced the same issue when booking for my movies with Mon tomorrow. Thankfully, the next available showing, at 5:30 p.m., had seats available and we all got to watch it. I could tell my sister was a bit bummed out, but eventually became okay and we just decided to eat Pepper Lunch at the food court nearby and wait it out there.

During our wait, I talked to Kai and she let me know what was going on because I was pretty concerned at her mental wellbeing. She says that she's going through it and had some issues for the past few days, too. But I'm glad she had someone with her who took genuine care for her, so that was nice to hear that she had someone. She says that she'd be down to deliver the painting and also stay the night at my house for today, which was initially surprising, but I welcomed it since I had nothing left to do for the rest of the day anyway. We eventually watched the movie and I was a bit scared that I got a bad angle, but my sister says that it was fine from where they were sitting, so that was great. I had a horrible seat, but I didn't mind since I knew I would watch Colony (2026) tomorrow with Mon anyway. I also had an annoying person seated next to me that just had their phone and Facebook on light mode and just scrolled like an idiot, which got on my nerves a bit but whatever. After the movie, I asked how my sister and her boyfriend liked it and they said it was pretty good. I lost 3,800 Pesos or so on tickets, but whatever, it was fine. I booked a ride home since Kai had messaged me throughout the movie and she said that she was on the way to my house, so I had to hurry up. I eventually got home and spent the rest of the evening with Kai. I was surprised that Kai was already inside my house, but I'm glad someone had let her in because I was afraid that she would get rained on. And I just found her playing some games on her Nintendo Switch just passing the time. I eventually got seated and asked them how their week was, and so on. And then I took a look at her 30-inch-by-32-inch horror painting that they made themselves. It was pretty impressive and I knew that I would be hanging it on my wall. Me and Kai talk for a while and I eventually show her this employee outfit that I bought for Halloween a few years ago and she wore it, which was funny. We eventually both wore outfits and decided on going out and walking around BGC wearing those outfits, with her wearing the Lala from Teletubbies outfit and me wearing the employee outfit. We took a few pictures and chilled around, and I even tried to find the Squid Game outfits that I had and asked if Kai was down to wear those, but she insisted that we go through with the original plan.

After that, I wore the outfit again and I booked a ride for us to Coco Ichibanya in BGC. I didn't plan on actually eating there with her but we decided that we would start our walk there. Kai played some songs while on the car ride there and one was by Tanya Markova, which I noted that my sister and I saw a few years ago. And then she actually slept for a while. We got off at Coco Ichibanya and walked to the nearby Lawson and 7-Eleven because I wanted to get us drinks. After chilling and charging up a few things, we eventually made our walk to The Original Pares Mami House Retiro in Poblacion. We followed a pretty long route, which barely had proper sidewalks after we had left BGC. Kai also got uncomfortable and decided to remove the outfit which made me laugh a bit because I couldn't remove mine. But we kept walking and she asked me to sing a few songs off the top of my head, which surprised me but I sang a few songs from Air Supply and I was surprised that Kai also knew some of the songs. We eventually made our way to Makati and our night continued there.
