Fusion Alley!
Wednesday surprised me a lot because, at the start, I thought that someone and I were totally through. But then they messaged me and said that they wanted to show off their nails? Which was insane, but okay. Also because I had typed out so much, they didn't push through with deleting their account. Which was insane work, but okay. We just talked about random stuff and things were fully okay between us, or so it seemed.
For the rest of the day, it was just a normal day in the office for me, thankfully. The rider took a different route to the office, which was interesting. I was able to get drinks with my coworkers in the morning and I got Chagee. I mistakenly ordered from their Ortigas branch and even ordered an extra one for myself, which I just gave to one of my coworker friends because he kept teasing me about giving him the drink. the usual stuff happened in the day like we had lunch, and I got BLK 513 when my coworker got one. My coworker also got me interested in this Co-star app and I checked in my stuff, even though I already knew my birth chart.
After timing out, my coworkers wanted to have dinner and I had nothing better to do, so I just accompanied them for it. I wasn't sure if Jaze was still down for hanging out later this evening, so I just tagged along with my coworkers. We went off and took my coworker's car to their place, then we headed to Fusion Alley via a car that I had booked.
When we got there, it was just an entire street filled with street food. It reminded me of Myeong-dong, in a way, and it made me reminisce a bit because I had several nights where I just ate street food in Korea. For tonight, we walked to the very end of the street where my coworkers ate dried squid on a stick, which didn't live up to the mental image I had. I showed my coworker the baby octopus that I ate in Korea and I thought it would be like that, but apparently it wasn't. I ordered a hotdog because it looked nice, so that was my first meal. We then walked around and Ilocos empanada that our coworker recommended, which was really yummy but also kind of filling. We kept walking and we passed by a seafood stall and I ordered some oysters for a pretty cheap price. And we were starting to get really full by this time, but we kept eating. We got a few more stuff, like I got some tofu, which was nice, and we ate some pani puri, which was the first time I had some and it tasted great. We also had a bit of sushi that had some caviar on top, which had an interesting flavor profile but I liked it. After that, we kept walking but we ultimately were too tired and our stomachs were so full, we couldn't eat anymore and called it a day.
I booked a car for us to ride back to their place to and I passed out for a bit because I had only slept for 2 hours or so. Jaze also called during this time and let me know that he couldn't push through due to how hard it was raining, which was a good coincidence because I had already ate a lot and I don't think I could eat anymore. We eventually got to their place and my coworkers were kind enough to wait for me to get a ride, even though they didn't have to. I put on my raincoat outfit because I expected that it'd rain so hard once we got to my place, and I got a ride back. It was one of the most uncomfortable rides back home because it didn't rain and the driver even had to stop and leave me at a gas station, but eventually things were okay and I got home safe. I got into a call with someone after.
