Holy Shit, I Could've Actually Died Today! No, Really! What the Fuck?!

Today started with me still on my adventure from last night. I got home safe, though, which was really nice and I ate some good beef tapa before going home and sleeping. I had a few hours of rest, though, but I was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed come morning. I booked a ride to the office and went on my way.

I got to the building and, as I was walking past a pedestrian lane, I heard a bus coming even though I wanted to take a step further. AND THEN A BUS PASSED BY ME. I heard the bus' horn so I stopped, but I felt so inclined to take a step further, WHICH WOULD'VE EITHER KILLED ME OR HIT ME REALLY HARD.

Jesus Christ.

I legitimately had a near-death experience. There was a guy watching for the buses and for pedestrians crossing, but he wasn't paying attention and I legitimately could've been killed. My smile and upbeat mood was immediately killed and I went to my desk thinking about how close I was to dying.

The rest of the day wasn't that noteworthy, though. I still had a good day at work, like eating at the common area and ordering Taco Bell just to try for something different. My mood eventually turned okay and my shock from this morning waned, so that's good, at least. I went and commissioned an artist to redraw my OC in their style. I went home in the evening and nothing much happened by the end of the day, though, but today was still good enough for me. I'm just glad I didn't die or something.
