Monday was a pretty normal day for me, work-wise. I timed in for work and completed a busy Monday shift. It was mostly catching up on my tasks and I believe I was pretty productive today, too. Work came and passed without me doing anything really noteworthy.

After work, I played Peak with Luan and someone again! It was a new day, so a new seed was expected. We continued our way through the shore, the tropics, the alpine section, and surprisingly we got to the caldera section. It was a surprise because the alpine section seemed hard and I died, which sucks because I died and took Bing Bong with me! Luan also died shortly after and someone had to climb up alone. Thankfully, she was able to resurrect us, but I lost Bing Bong! Our climb continued regardless and we surprisingly passed through the caldera section just fine and we then got to the kiln.

The kiln is usually the make-or-break part and this is where one of us usually dies, but surprisingly, we got through this part! We helped each other, organized our climbing paths, helped each other up, and we didn't leave anyone fully behind. It was a miracle and we kept climbing up until someone got out first, then it was me next, then finally Luan.

I can't believe it, we 3 made it to the top together!

Sadly, it was a little incomplete without Bing Bong, but I was so happy for us regardless. We've been playing this game for a while and it was the first time we were able to climb up to the top as three! It felt really nice that we were able to accomplish this because we've been trying hard to reach the peak for more than a month.

After playing Peak, we talked about what game to play and I think Luan recommended that we play R.E.P.O. and I'm honestly surprised that neither of them have bought/played the game. I used to always see this game on IG Reels and I'm honestly kind of happy that I'm able to play this game with them now. I buy it and we all move to it, with someone inviting us both into their hosted lobby.

At first, it was kinda scary and it worked a bit like Lethal Company. But I eventually got the hang of it, and so did someone and Luan. We got through the first round but we eventually all died and failed. We had this fun minigame where we'd try to fight each other and whoever wins gets a crown and a "King of the Losers" title. Luan got that both in our playthrough. We continued and it was honestly a fun game because the characters talked so wackily. I kept replaying the Samsung ringtone and they laughed at it, which was funny.

We eventually stopped playing at around midnight and it was a pretty great day for me. I got into a call with someone and we kept talking until the next day.
